Children climb and play on an inflatable caterpillar floating on the lake at Wonderland Waterpark.

This winter, ACE has spent the off-season upgrading the heart and soul of our Adventure Resort – ACE Lake, now affectionately knows as Wonderland Waterpark! We will celebrate the grand opening of our new and improved facility in May that boasts a bigger white sandy beach, more changing rooms, an indoor arcade (just in case there’s any chance of rain), plus 50 new inflatable lake toys, more water slides and an expanded patio grill with table-side service for those who need to grab a bite after a day of playing outside.

Please watch your step as you navigate your way through the resort since we will still be working on improvement projects for the next few months. Summertime cannot come soon enough and we know you all are just as excited as we are to see the newest improvements to the lake area; since we still have nine more weeks of hard work to go, we wanted to show you some of the newest additions… check out the monster-sized water slide!

Conquer the mountain and climb thirty feet to the top before sliding into the lake below or fling your friends off the newest Saturn spinning ball (if you can make it to the top first!) Challenge your family to a wipe-out style obstacle course or embrace your inner hamster and run around the inside of a giant spinning tube. Whichever toy or activity you choose, the all-new Wonderland Waterpark has thrills for any age adventurer.

*We kept many of the same crowd-favorites: THE BLOB, Wet Willy Slide, Zipline, Euro Bungee and Climbing Wall will still be part of the new waterpark.

Need a reminder for when the lake is open? Starting in May, we’ll be open on weekends then starting Memorial Day Weekend we are open everyday from 9:00am until sundown. Save this schedule so you know when we’re open for a fun-tastic day on the lake!
Until you make the roadtrip, you can keep on enjoying this video from last year (thanks for helping us reach over 3 million people on social media with this!!) just to see how much fun we have here…

Good afternoon, I was wondering if you have to stay on site to be able to enjoy the waterpark and also if you do rent one of your sites are you obligated to reserve one of you activities. Thank you

Great question! You do not have to stay onsite to enjoy the waterpark, it is open 7 days a week from 9am-8pm.
      All the best,

You do not have to stay with us to enjoy the waterpark, day users are more then welcome! If you reserve a cabin then yes we do require one of our guided activities. However, this does not apply to primitive camping.
      Hope this helps 🙂

If I rent a cabin for the weekend do I get free access to the water park

Robin, unfortunately no. The waterpark has a very big expense to operate, so there is still a fee for it. When you do a guided activity, such as rafting, zip lining, or SUPing, you get a discount on the waterpark. Feel free to reach out to if you have any more questions.

I see that you can buy tickets for the park in advance. Is that necessary or can you buy the day of arrival

Jessica, you are certainly welcome to purchase them the day of arrival. It is always best if you can bring the filled out waiver with you ahead of time though 🙂

Are there certain places kids have to stay or can they get on anything or do anything pertaining to the water park? Any height restrictions and do you provide life vests?
    Thank you !

They can go anywhere they are willing to go and with your approval. There are no height restrictions and we do provide PFDs (personal flotation devices) although you are welcome to bring your own as well.
      See you soon!

Do you offer special pricing certain days of the week? I heard something on the radio about Wednesday evening and a full day that was being offered at half day price.

On Wednesdays through Labor Day we do a $10 pass from 5-8pm. Otherwise, the price is the same every day. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks!

Can people with camper use that to stay a weekend ? If so how much ??

    • Kelsey Regan
      November 25, 2017 1:20 pm

Geraldine, we do have a handful of full hookup camper and RV sites. We do have the policy, however that all lodging (except tent camping) requires 3/4 of the people staying participate in guided activities (ie. whitewater rafting, zip lining, rock climbing, etc.) between Memorial Day Friday and Labor Day Monday. Those sites are $39 a night and you can learn more about them here.
