The Creekers

The Creekers are a group hailing from Leslie County in Eastern Kentucky with our newest addition being from Indiana.

The band is made up of Tanner Horton on vocals and lead guitar, Allen Hacker on vocals and rhythm guitar, Jagger Bowling
with backup vocals and on bass, Ashton Bowling on cajon, and Scott Sutton with backup vocals and on banjo. Our newest member is Anna Blanton on fiddle.

The Creekers have a unique sound that include Bluegrass influences with country and pop songs you may recognize. They have spent the last couple of years growing a fan base and establishing a name in the East Kentucky/East Tennessee and surrounding areas. They have played bars, small music venues, festivals, and have supported acts such as Cole Chaney, Nicholas Jamerson, Brother Smith, and Rhonda Vincent. They bring an energy to the stage you do not want to miss.

Paul E Johnson and Corey Lee McQuade

Paul E Johnson and Corey Lee McQuade have been performing together for over two decades. Moving between folk, bluegrass, blues and soul, Paul E Johnson’s voice is versatile and emotive. Johnson looks like a mountain and sings like a man, or, if you prefer, vice versa. Johnson has got one of those voices that’s like a revelation. Simultaneously gruff, scratchy and sensitive. Corey Lee McQuade, “the other flatpicking dobro man”, carries on the dobro style of Grammy winner Tut Taylor, flatpicking the resophonic guitar aka dobro. Corey and Tut Taylor became good friends and performed together until 2015. This is the sound of today’s Appalachian music.
