Noelle

Noelle originally came to the New River Gorge for the world class rock climbing but soon became enthralled by the amazing whitewater as well. With a degree in Ecotourism and Adventure Travel from Hocking College, she has worked as a climbing, zip line, and river guide for ACE, often taking on the role of Trip Leader for all of those activities.

Noelle was born and raised in Ohio, but her family’s roots go back to pre Civil War times in the New River Gorge Region. Her Papaw was actually a train conductor, transporting coal along the banks of the New River during the past century, so this place has always felt like home to her. In the winter, Noelle works as a ski instructor. During her free time, she loves crafting, birding, foraging, and spending time with her cat.
