Our Intermediate Whitewater Rafting trips are perfect for adventurers who have already tried mild rafting or those who are ready for bigger water, more exciting rapids, and even more thrills. If your crew is ready for an exciting rafting adventure, you’ll find a range of trips that build confidence and crank up fun, from guided oar raft experiences to full-on two-day river journeys.

Choose Your Level of Adventure

We offer a lineup of trips that bridge the gap between beginner and advanced rafting, including:

Lower New Oar Trips (Ages 10–11) – Introduce your young paddlers to bigger whitewater with the stability and excitement of oar-guided rafting. These trips are offered as a full or half day experience.
Lower New (Ages 12+) – A classic Upper New follow-up with longer river miles and bigger rapids. Check out the full day with a hot riverside lunch or if you’re short on time, the half day option covers the same whitewater without the stops.
Fall Lower Gauley (Ages 12+) – Seasonal big-water thrills on one of the East Coast’s most iconic rivers.
Upper/Lower Overnight Adventures – Spend one day on the mild Upper New, camp riverside, and experience the Lower New on day two.

Each trip is led by experienced, professional guides who know how to keep safety high and smiles wide.
