The New River Gorgeous Trail Race
Join ACE Adventure Resort for the 21st Annual New River Gorgeous Trail Run & Walk. Choose between three race options including a half-marathon, 10K run, or a 5 mile walk. All the courses wander through deep hardwood forests and offer spectacular views of the New River and the historic town of Thurmond. Cash prizes are awarded to top finishers plus all racers get a 2022 New River Gorgeous Trail Run race medal when you cross the finish line. The best part? The race happens at ACE Adventure Resort which is the perfect place to spend the entire weekend with family and friends!

FREE CAMPING on Saturday night to racers so make a weekend of it and bring along the family to enjoy ACE’s awesome activities. Get into some whitewater rafting, ziplining, mountain biking, paintball, kayaking, or SUPs just to name a few options. A favorite activity among racers is Wonderland Waterpark, a 5-acre inflatable playground complete with waterslides, weeble wobbles, blobs, and more! Check out the menu at Woody’s & The Lost Paddle and don’t forget about deluxe lodging options with outdoor hot tubs that are perfect for soaking those sore muscles after the race.
