T.G.I.F.
Get here early on Thursday night to wake up charged and ready for a full 3-day weekend of epic river fun! We kick things off Friday morning with shuttles to Cunard and from Fayette Station for runs of the New River Gorge. Purchase $10 shuttle tokens for each river lap you want to run. Once you get back to the campground wander through the vendor midway featuring ACE Adventure Gear, NRS, Hala Gear, Astral & more. Hit up the World Paddling Film Festival screening happening from 5-9PM under the trip check in pavilion. Want to spend your Friday night dancing? Travers Brothership rocks The Lost Paddle all night.
Weekend Fun on Saturday
Saturday will be a fantastic day to see all your friends out on the river. We will have shuttles running throughout the day so you can catch a ride to the put-in up until noon. Cruise around the vendor midway open from 10am – 6pm and visit with The New River Conservancy, Friends of the New River, Fly Fishing West Virginia & more. Get out and explore the New River Gorge National Park with guided hikes and group mountain bike rides happening Friday and Saturday. The Revered Peyton’s Big Damn Band will be bringing their fiery show to The Lost Paddle alongside The Wild Rumpus and BlacKingCoal.
Sunday River Clean Up with New River Conservancy
Join The New River Conservancy and ACE Adventure Resort for a river cleanup on Sunday during the New River Festival. Scheduled from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM we plan to paddle of section of the Upper New River and collect trash from the river. This trip is subject to water levels and in the event of high water we will adjust our plans accordingly with the goal being to clean up a section of the watershed. Space is limited on this river cleanup. Shuttle is provided. You may bring your own craft or ride with us. Gear can be provided for those who need it.
