Lodging FAQs

All lodging guests check in at the Welcome Center, the first building you’ll see when entering the resort. If the Welcome Center is closed when you arrive, we use a late check-in board with your last name and a packet containing everything you need to access your cabin and continue your stay.

• Check-in: Anytime after 4:00 PM
• Check-out: By 10:00 AM on your departure day

This ensures our housekeeping team has time to prepare accommodations for arriving guests.

If you have lodging and activities booked together, you’ll likely check in for lodging at the Welcome Center and then proceed to activity check-in locations as directed. It’s a good idea to allow extra time so you can complete both lodging and adventure check-ins without rushing.

Standard check-in and check-out times are enforced so that all guests receive clean, prepared accommodations. Early check-in and late check-out are based on availability and cannot be guaranteed. Please contact our Welcome Center in advance to inquire if space allows.

The resort sits on 1,500 wooded acres adjacent to the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, providing easy access to outdoor recreation, trails, and scenic areas while keeping all lodging, dining, and adventure activities close at hand. Our physical address is: 1 Concho Road, Oak Hill, West Virginia 25901. 

Yes, the Welcome Center is your hub for lodging support when you arrive. Staff there can help with:

• Finalizing your check-in
• Directions to your lodging unit
• Resort information and activity details
• Retail items such as camping supplies, souvenirs, snacks, drinks, etc.

If it’s closed, you’ll find your information packet on the late check-in board located outside the front doors of the Welcome Center. 

Yes, a limited number of on-site lodging options allow pets. A one-time, non-refundable $50 pet cleaning fee applies per stay. Please let us know immediately if you are bringing along your pet. 

The resort borders several thousand feet of New River shoreline and includes portions of the National Park’s hiking and biking trail system right on property, so you’re close to nature and adventure just steps from your cabin. 

Yes, ACE has multiple restroom and shower facilities throughout the resort for guests. There are more than 70 showers spread across the property, ensuring convenient access no matter where you’re staying.

Absolutely. ACE has a variety of group lodging options and can accommodate larger parties. Contact us in advance so we can help you plan group check-in and lodging assignments.
