Skylah

Skylah was an Air Force kid, born in Germany and spending the first few years of life there before moving stateside with her parents. “I got the best of both worlds in my opinion with growing up; I was a military kid where I got to travel with my mom in the Air Force, but also spent my summers in the beautiful state of West Virginia.”

Skylah is starting her 2nd season guiding The New & Gauley Rivers with ACE, having completed the guide training program in the Spring of 2023. When not guiding, she enjoys rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, backpacking, hiking, or snowboarding in the winter. Skylah graduated from Marshall University and currently works in healthcare as a Registered Nurse.
