Activities are why you’re here, right? Let’s get to it! We started our legacy over 40 years ago with whitewater rafting, and we’re proud to raft two of the most epic rivers in the United States! With trips for kiddos as young as six, we can help you find the perfect trip for your team! Or, try one of our other unique adventures like rock climbing, mountain biking, stand up paddleboarding, lake kayaking, ziplining, and more! We have enough activities to fill an entire week, seriously!

ACE is also the home to several unique teambuilding opportunities. We consider whitewater rafting to be our original teambuilding trip but have expanded to include the Alpine Tower and Mud Obstacle Course. Our Alpine Tower has high and low ropes elements and can be done as a full or half-day trip. Teams will work together to solve problems and puzzles. Our mud obstacle course is down and dirty fun, as teams will compete to cross the finish line in the shortest amount of time, together!

Spend a half or a full day at the coolest waterpark ever, Wonderland Waterpark! This unique waterpark encompasses a 5-acre spring-fed lake located at the heart of our resort. Your team will love climbing the huge inflatable obstacles and elements on the lake, orbiting around the giant planets, blobbing each other, sliding, and ziplining into the water! For those who don’t want to swim, beach games like tetherball and beach volleyball are happening on our white sandy beach.

Camp under the stars with us at ACE! Rent a tent from us, and we’ll have it set up for you, or bring your own. Our spacious Mountaintop Campground has plenty of room for your team to spread out and enjoy nature. And, with bathrooms located in our campground, you won’t really have to “rough it”. Or, rent one of the cabin tents or family-style tents and have a tent already set up for you on a platform. If tent camping isn’t your style, try out our bunkhouses, located within walking distance of the main part of ACE, this secluded area of ACE is made for groups! For smaller groups or groups willing to spread out in different buildings, try our deluxe cabins!

Leave the cooking to us and enjoy playing and relaxing at ACE! We have breakfast, lunch, and dinner options for your team, and with buffet options available, we can help feed those “always hungry” kind of people! Rent our meeting space if you need a climate-controlled space to hang out and meet with your team, or even our event venue, which is large enough for 2,000 people! There’s so much to do at ACE for FREE! Begin your adventure at the Welcome Center, where you can grab a map to guide your journey. Explore the breathtaking trails that weave for miles around ACE, including the stunning Concho Overlook Trail, which offers a captivating view of the historic town of Thurmond in the New River Gorge. For those who prefer biking, we have private trails suitable for all skill levels—bring your gear or rent a mountain bike from us and embrace the thrill of the ride.

Cast your line and enjoy fishing in our private resort ponds. If you’re interested in ornithology, this is a prime spot for observing a diverse array of bird species. Additionally, challenge yourself on our unique Disc Golf course, which stretches over 6,000 feet and features both challenging and open flight paths.
