Group Lodging
Stay close to the action when you lodge at ACE Adventure Resort. We have great options for all groups, ranging from rustic camping or budget group lodging to deluxe lodging.
ACE’s campground or budget-friendly lodging options enable non-profit groups to minimize lodging costs and invest in experiential outdoor activities that build relationships, expand confidence, and develop team building within the group.
Whitewater Rafting
We LOVE rafting and have been in the whitewater industry for over 40 years. Safety is a priority here; that’s why we pride ourselves on having the best guides in the region.
The Lower New River is our most popular trip because this section of river is great for beginners and seasoned rafters. If you’re looking for a more relaxing trip, the Upper New River is perfect.
If you’re visiting during the fall, the Gauley River offers incredible views and rapids. The Upper Gauley River is only recommended for experienced rafters but the Lower Gauley River is comparable to the Lower New River.
Group Adventures
Reserve a one-day or multi-day custom trip using the non-profit group rates. ACE’s Rafting, Rock Climbing, Aerial Park, Mountain Biking, and Zip Lining can challenge you physically and personally. The Mud Obstacle, Aerial Park, Paintball, and Team Challenge activities help you identify the leaders and encouragers and strengthen your group’s ability to accomplish a common goal. Looking for a more reflective trip? Consider a guided hike, Stand Up Paddleboarding, or Lake Kayaking.
Waterpark
At the heart of ACE Adventure Resort, is coolest waterpark you’ve ever seen. This 5-acre lake is packed full of fun for all ages, and there is plenty of opertunity to relax on the beach as well.
The lake is filled with inflatable obstacles, so you can climb, slide, and bounce around the water. Race your friends on the tandem slides and tandem ziplines into the water. With this much to do, this is a perfect-full day or half-day activity.
Dining Options
Leave the cooking to us so you can focus your energy on what you came here to do. Have a blast! Stop by The Lost Paddle for our classic breakfast buffet, or grab breakfast sandwiches if you’re rushing off to your next activity. Stop by Woodys for our award-winning woodfired pizza, wings, wraps, nachos, sandwiches, and more for lunch. We can also prepare lunch just for your group with many options available. Head back to The Lost Paddle Bar and Grill for dinner and more of those classic American favorites!
Free Activities
There’s so much to do at ACE for FREE! Just stop by the Welcome Center to grab a map and get started. You will find dozens of trails encompassing miles or terrain around ACE, like the Concho Overlook Trail overlooking the historic town of Thurmond in the New River Gorge. If you would rather travel on two wheels, we have private biking trails for beginner, moderate, and advanced. You can bring your own gear or rent a mountain bike from us.
Grab your fishing equipment and fish in one of our private resort fishing ponds. If ornithology is more your speed, we are a prime location for viewing dozens of species of birds. We also have a one-of-a-kind Disc Golf course spanning over 6,000 feet of challenging and open flight paths.
