ACE Adventure Resort has been the “go-to” place for families, faith-based communities, and other groups to come together as a family at Wonderland Waterpark. The waterpark features an exciting array of attractions, including:

– Two 40-foot tall Wet Willie Waterslides
– Two Tower Zip Lines
– 50 huge inflatable toys, including a 25-foot Climbing Mountain, Giant Spinning Saturn Balls, and an Obstacle Course
– Complimentary access to hiking and biking trails

Whitewater Rafting

Here at ACE, we love what we do! With over 40 years in the whitewater industry, we prioritize safety above all else, and we’re proud to have the best guides in the area.

The Lower New River is our most popular trip because this section is excellent for both beginners and seasoned rafters. For a more laid-back experience, try the Upper New River.

And don’t forget about the Gauley River in the fall! You’ll be treated to stunning views and thrilling rapids. The Upper Gauley River is only recommended for experienced rafters, but the Lower Gauley River offers a fun experience similar to the Lower New River. We can’t wait for you to join us on the water!

Group Adventures

Set out on the adventure of a lifetime by reserving a custom trip with our non-profit group rates, designed for both one-day and multi-day experiences. Challenge yourself with ACE’s thrilling activities, including Rafting, Rock Climbing, Aerial Park, Mountain Biking, and Zip Lining.

Waterpark

At the heart of ACE Adventure Resort lies the coolest waterpark you’ve ever seen! Spanning 5 acres, the lake offers endless fun for all ages and plenty of opportunity to unwind on the beach.

Head out to the inflatable obstacle course, where you can climb, slide, and bounce your way through the water. Challenge your friends to race down the tandem slides or zipline into the lake for a splash. You can even take turns “blobbing” each other to see who can soar the highest before landing back in the water.

Free Activities

There’s so much to do at ACE for FREE! Just swing by the Welcome Center to pick up a map and get ready to explore. You can wander along our many trails, like the Concho Overlook Trail, which offers stunning views of the historic town of Thurmond in the New River Gorge.

If you prefer to explore on two wheels, we have private biking trails that cater to all skill levels—beginner, moderate, and advanced. Feel free to bring your bike or rent one from us!

Don’t forget to bring your fishing gear to relax at our private resort fishing ponds. And if you love birds, you’re in for a treat! Our location is perfect for spotting a variety of bird species. We also offer a fantastic Disc Golf course that stretches over 6,000 feet, featuring challenging and open flight paths. Come join the fun!
