Country Road Cabins
Ahh yes, the luxury of a comfortable bed after adventuring outdoors all day. Add a hot tub, and you’re properly rejuvenated for your next excursion in the New River Gorge. Fellow whitewater veterans, and owners of Country Road Cabins, Paul and Jennifer Breuer understand relaxing in style. As founders of one of the first whitewater rafting companies on the New and Gauley Rivers, they’ve been in southern West Virginia for over 40 years, sharing their spirit of adventure with everyone they meet.
Getaway Hideaway
Located in Hico, just north of Fayetteville, the cabins provide a great base of operations for hiking, rafting, fishing, swimming, and zip line canopy tours. Beautiful Summersville Lake and Babcock State Park are a short drive away. If you’re visiting ACE, the cabins are a great place to stop and rest as you head north on your journey through scenic West Virginia.
These cabins provide extensive luxury without breaking the bank, a great option for families or groups. Each cabin features a hot tub, fully equipped kitchen, and fireplace. If you venture outdoors year-round, you know the particular beauty of winter in the New River Gorge. There’s no better way to get warm after a scenic winter hike than with a cracking fire and bubbling hot tub.
