The NRG and SUP Riverside Overnight Package is the perfect option for those who love a mixture of thrilling rapids and calm water. On your first day you’ll take on thrilling class IV rapids and enjoy a dip in the River on the calmer sections. After your exciting day on the New River, relax around a campfire before drifting off to sleep at our newly renovated overnight campsite. Start your next day off with gorgeous scenery and serene water! Explore the beauty of West Virginia while putting your balance to the test on a stand up paddleboard. Our SUP trip is a unique and fun twist on traditional kayaking and makes for an exciting family adventure activity. Trip Highlights:
Lower New River Rafting
Jump Rock: Experience nature’s high dive by jumping off this sandstone boulder into the New River. This is an activity only offered on full day river trips, and is a New River Gorge whitewater rafting guest favorite!
Surfing: Surf West Virginia style by riding the waves of the New River. This unique experience is only available on full day river trips.
Swimmers Rapid: Jump out of the boat and swim through a fun and splashy rapid, an option only available on full day trips.
Class IV+ Rapids: With two class IV+ rapids named Double Z and The Keeney’s, this trip is perfect for beginners and seasoned rafters alike.
New River Gorge Bridge: Lower New River Gorge rafting trips end under the awe-inspiring New River Gorge Bridge, providing dramatic closure to the most inspiring outdoor journey on the East Coast.
Riverside lunch: Let your guide be the chef and prepare you a delicious feast on the side of the river.

Information and details:
The adventure overnight trip will start with your half day activity. When the activity ends you will walk to the riverside camp site. It’s extremely important you check into your first activity with everything you need for the trip, as you will not come back to your vehicle. Please read through the list below of what we will provide and what you should bring along.
ACE provides:
Tents
Transportation to and from the river
All rafting equipment (this does not include wetsuits and rain gear, however if it is needed it can be rented)
Guides
Meals: dinner on day 1 and breakfast and lunch on day 2
Beverages: sodas, lemonade, water
You need to bring:
Sleeping bag
Sleeping pad
Pillow
Personal toiletries (biodegradable soap, towel, toothbrush, etc.)
Change of clothing for camp, including dry shoes
River clothes
Recommend you bring:
Additional beverages
Flashlight
Jacket for camp
Sunscreen
Bug repellent
Optional items to bring:
Books, games, cards
Waterproof disposable camera
Fishing pole (fishing licenses are available at local sporting goods store)
Please bring all items to your trip check in.
All ACE riverside camps have restroom facilities. The overnight site has running water, showers and flush toilets.
Please lock all of your valuables up in your vehicle. This includes all jewelry, wallets, money, or anything that you would not want to get wet or lost.
You will need to arrive for check in one hour before your departure time listed on your confirmation.
