Join us on the wild and wonderful New River, one of the oldest river fisheries in the world. Our float fishing trips are a premier way to explore and fish in the New River Gorge. Full of smallmouth, walleye, and muskelunge, this fishing trip is definitely a highlight to any vacation.

You will be accompanied by some of the finest and longest running fishing guides in the New River fishing inudstry. Your guide is well versed in the techniques and tactics that are needed to catch fish out of the New. They will also show you their expertise in navigating the many rapids of the New River that keep this fishery protected and under pressured from the common anglers. Our rafts are outfitted for two anglers per boat with a guide rowing from the center.

These trips typically take a full day, and cover up to 8 miles on the river from 7AM to 3PM, but can be shortened to fit the guest’s needs. Coolers with soft drinks, waters, and beers are provided as well as a shore lunch. Rods, reels, and specialty tackle are also provided. Guests can also bring their own equipment and tackle if they choose.

Trip Tips

• Wear comfortable clothing. You do not need swim trunks as you won’t be going through too much whitewater, but your clothes may get wet.
• We recommend bringing a hat and sunglasses
• Footwear of your choice, but preferably something that will stay secured to your feet in water.
• Personal prescription medication
• Waterproof camera or GoPro
• Personal fishing gear, bait, and tackle if desired
• WV Fishing License
