Ash has been guiding whitewater rafting adventures for a decade. When not on the river, she enjoys hiking, reading, writing, painting, cooking, and weightlifting. Ash also advocates for inclusivity in the outdoors and has worked with various companies on how to improve their inclusivity when it comes to body diversity in the outdoor industry.

Different well-known companies have partnered with her like Astral, LL Bean, Merrell, Granite Gear, and others. She has been featured in several magazines, blogs, and podcasts including Blue Ridge Magazine’s “30 under 30 outdoor influencers”, The Trek, Outside Magazine’s list of plus size outdoors people you should know, and she was included in the book, “Women and Water”. The short film about Ash, “All Bodies” directed by Tommy Corey, won Paddle Film Festival’s People’s Choice Award in 2022. She is in a current project called “All Humans Outside”. Ash continues to teach beginner outdoor classes as well as body-positive and neutral courses.
