2025 Settlefest Lineup

The Settlement – The Settlement is a funk-fusion jam band from Huntington, WV. Cleverly combining rowdy rock riffs, complex jazz harmonies, funky bass lines, dreamy pop melodies, jammin’ reggae grooves and a multitude of diverse world music influences, the eclectic ensemble truly offers something for everyone. Each member has their own unique flavor and contributes to the bands’ vast array of sounds. Each set is different from the last, offering an original live performance that thrives on energy, improvisation, communication and creativity.

Yarn – Blake Christiana, founding member of Yarn, has the music in him. In fact, you could say that Blake is the music and the music is Blake; that’s how deeply he inhabits the songs he writes and plays. You can hear him struggling with his feelings, whether it’s on a skittering country shuffle or on a mid-tempo folk ballad or a straight-ahead rocker. His restless search for the chords and lyrics over the past 20 years has produced a plethora of memorable music, and since 2007 he’s led Yarn, a band that’s evolved from its earliest days as a bar band in New York City to an outstanding roots band that’s shared stages with Dwight Yoakam, Marty Stuart, Alison Krauss, and Leftover Salmon, among many others.

Into The Fog – Into The Fog is a psychedelic jamgrass band from Raleigh, North Carolina that combines timeless songwriting with progressive instrumentation and tight harmonies. The group consists of Winston Mitchell (mandolin), Derek Lane (upright bass), and Connor Kozlosky (guitar), with everyone contributing on vocals. The band’s members have varied musical backgrounds that range from bluegrass to funk, which helps create Into The Fog’s genre-jumping sound.

John Inghram Band -Born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia, John Inghram was steeped in the historic music of the region. His mother’s side of the family were church musicians, and he was exposed to bluegrass, country, gospel, and old-time music as a kid. But for Inghram, it is neither the past nor the future that piques his interest. On his self-titled debut album, John Inghram, the accomplished bass player seizes the present moment to step into the spotlight as a frontman. With a collection of 60’s and 70’s psychedelic rock tunes, Inghram sets modern experiences to vintage sounds, allowing his listeners to feel time as circular in nature, hitting on the right now with both nostalgia and innovation.

Jeremy Short – With an orange mustache, golden voice and cherry red Gibson ES-335, Appalachian Space Funk artist Jeremy Short has quickly risen to the top shelf of must-hear players on the scene.

Kindred Valley – Indie folk band Kindred Valley started when three friends with a passion for music met at Marshall University in 2020. Initially under the name Back Row Baptists, Blake Lacy, Noah Freeman and Brett McCoy met in Huntington, West Virginia, and began writing and recording music together. The band released its first singles as a trio but found its footing in 2021 with three new members – Husband and Wife Rachael and Jadon Hayes and Kaden Salmons.

Dark Moon Hollow – Dark Moon Hollow is a four-piece bluegrass band hailing from the heart of Lexington, Kentucky, blending the rich traditions of Appalachian music with a modern edge. Over the course of eight years, the band has seen an impressive evolution, with 15 talented members contributing to its sound and identity. Today, the group features an electrifying lineup: Trigger Trey on guitar, Riley Logan on mandolin, JD Thomas holding down the rhythm on bass, and Andrew Taylor weaving captivating melodies on fiddle. Together, they create a dynamic energy that has captivated audiences across the region.

Sasha Colette & The Magnolias – Rock n’ Soul with a Kentucky style Howdy for your get up and go.

Junction 144 – Colten’s Dad’s band!
