Get Colorful!
Get colorful for a great cause this August and support Hope in the Hills in their fight to end Opiate addiction. This 5K timed run will get you covered from head to toe in all the colors of the rainbow. Along the course racers are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder. Participants wear white at the starting line and finish the race plastered in color. Prizes will be awarded for top finishers and all racers will get a goodie bag including your official white Color Dash for Hope t-shirt. Stick around after the run for a free burrito buffet for all participants. Plus waterpark fun and live music at The Lost Paddle that evening.

Course Information
This 5K route is perfect for anyone who wants to get out and participate. The first half of the course follows a level gravel road to ACE’s Concho Overlook of the New River Gorge. Enjoy the view and get a splash of water at the aid station. Then make your way back to the finish via an relatively flat easy trail. Finish the course decorated in color from head to toe!

Stick around after the run and jam with Jeremy Short on the deck of The Lost Paddle. This is a FREE SHOW from 8-11pm outside on the covered deck. With an orange mustache, golden voice and cherry red Gibson ES-335, National Touring Act and Appalachian Space Funk artist, Jeremy Short has quickly risen to the top shelf of must-hear players on the scene.

Hope in the Hills, Inc. is a non-profit organizations whose mission is to produce events that help connect and grow communities of recovery and healing in Appalachia, raising funds and awareness to combat opioid addiction through a wide array of projects and programs from youth prevention, healthy lifestyles and wellness to recovery houses and recovery to work.
