The Bridge Day Afterparty will feature an electrifying lineup with three incredible bands: The Kind Thieves, Florencia & the Feeling, and Big Blitz. As we bid farewell to another unforgettable rafting season in the New River Gorge, it’s time to turn up the energy and hit the dance floor! This free event kicks off at 6 PM and keeps the vibes alive all night, rocking until 1 AM. Don’t miss out—let’s end the season with a party to remember!

Hailing from the heart of Appalachia, The Kind Thieves are a musical tour de force that is far greater than simply the sum of its parts. With members originating from all over the Southern West Virginia region, the Thieves pull influences from musical genres spanning from classic rock to funk to bluegrass, wrapped up in a jam-band bow that promises a 100% original and mind-blowing live experience every time they perform.

Florencia & the Feeling – Johnson City, TN-based pop-funk band Florencia & the Feeling released their $10K crowdfunded debut album Birthday in 2023, hailed by Vents Magazine as “pure, unadulterated fun.” Since 2021, they’ve delivered electrifying shows bursting with joy, groove, and connection, earning wins at the 2025 FloydFest On-The-Rise and 2024 MerleFest Band Competitions, plus festival spots at Bristol Rhythm & Roots, Shakori Hills, and Rooster Walk. Their genre-bending sound blends funk, jazz, Latin flair, heartfelt songwriting, and soaring harmonies.

Big Blitz –  Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, Big Blitz combines dance, jazz, rock, and electronic musical influences to create their own dynamic sound. Brothers Lucas Ciesielski (Tenor Sax, Bari Sax) and Mason Ciesielski (Tenor Sax, Bari Sax, Synthesizers) unite with drummer Nick Grabigel to forge their unique, infectious style. The trio’s chemistry, energy, and stage presence makes dancing mandatory, rather than optional. Their meld of vintage instruments with modern technology consistently mesmerizes audiences and delivers a huge, hard-hitting sound that will create an unforgettable show.
