Gritty Chix Mud Run: What You Need to Know Before Race Day
The countdown is on for the Gritty Chix Mud Run at ACE Adventure Resort! Whether you’re tackling the Moxie Mile or taking on the Tenacious Trail, here’s everything you need to know before arriving on race day.
Check-In Information
Want to skip the lines on race morning? Join us for Early Check-In at the Lost Paddle on Friday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
Race day check-in and registration will open at 9:00 AM at the pavilion located above the Waterpark Front Entrance. If you haven’t registered yet, don’t worry—you can still sign up during check-in before your race begins.
Please arrive early enough to check in, park, and make your way to the starting area before your scheduled race time.
T-Shirt Pick Up
Participants who registered before May 31st and qualified for a complimentary race shirt can pick it up near the check-in area.
Missed the shirt deadline? A limited number of race shirts will be available for purchase after the event at the Welcome Center. Sizes and quantities are limited, so be sure to stop by early if you’d like to take one home.
Head to the Start Line Early
Please plan to arrive at the start line at least 10 minutes before your scheduled race time. This will allow time for final instructions and ensure everyone is ready to hit the course on time.
Get Muddy… Then Get Clean!
You’re about to crawl, climb, splash, and conquer plenty of mud, so come prepared! We recommend bringing a change of clothes, a towel, and clean shoes for after the race.
Bag Check will be available near the event area, allowing you to safely leave your dry clothes and personal items before heading onto the course. Once you’ve crossed the finish line, grab your bag and take advantage of the free shower facilities available on property.
Showers are available at the Rafting Trip Departure area, and a shuttle service will be available if you’d prefer to use another shower location elsewhere on the resort. A little planning ahead means you’ll be clean, comfortable, and ready to enjoy the rest of the day’s festivities.
The After Party Starts at the Lost Paddle
After you’ve rinsed off and changed into something dry, head over to the Lost Paddle to continue the celebration.
The Gritty Chix Awards Ceremony will take place at 3:30 PM at the Lost Paddle, where we’ll recognize standout participants, teams, and memorable moments from the day.
The fun continues with free live music featuring Abby Bryant, Emmalea Deal, Sasha Colette, and MA’AM. Grab a bite to eat, enjoy a cold drink, and spend the afternoon celebrating with fellow racers, friends, and family after a day in the mud.
