Gritty Chix Mud Run 2025

Didn’t you hear? The Gritty Chix Mud Run is making its way back to ACE Adventure Resort on June 21st, 2025! Tell your family, your friends, even your co-workers because you don’t want to miss this muddy, fun run for a great cause. Costumes, matching outfits, and even tutus are encouraged as long as you are prepared to get down and dirty in the mud! Whether you decide to do the 5K route or the Moxie Mile, all of our participants have a muddy fun time at Gritty Chix!

Gritty Chix is for Everyone!

The Gritty Chix Mud Run isn’t just for seasoned athletes—it’s for EVERYONE! Whether you’re an experienced runner or a beginner, our mud-filled obstacles are designed to challenge you and help you reach your goals, all while having a ton of fun. This event isn’t just about getting dirty; it’s about connecting with an incredible, supportive community. Participants cheer each other on as they face the mud, and it’s all for a good cause. Plus, Gritty Chix is open to guys and kids too! Kids age 10 or older can join in, as long as they register with an adult. Have friends or family who want to watch? No worries! The course is designed for them to cheer you on from the sidelines.

Racer Perks

Did you know that Gritty Chix racers get perks for participating in the mud run? If you sign up by May 31st, 2025, you get a FREE race shirt! There is a secure bag check to hold your belongings while you race, free parking for the event, and complementary showers to wash off all that mud! Not to mention, all participants get an official Gritty Chix Medal to celebrate your accomplishment of surviving the mud and to keep for bragging rights! An award ceremony will take place at the end to give out awards for Best Costume, Best Team Name, and more superlatives! If you stick around after the race, make sure to hang out at the Lost Paddle Bar and Grill for free live music on the deck.

ACE Adventure Resort

It’s the perfect time to check out ACE! Nestled in the heart of the New River Gorge National Park, our 1,500-acre resort offers over 50 lodging options, including camping, RV sites, rustic cabins, and more. We also offer a variety of guided activities, from whitewater rafting to ziplining, so you can explore the gorge in the most thrilling way possible. After the race, grab an evening pass to ACE’s Waterpark, where you can swim in a spring-fed lake, play on over 50 inflatable toys, or simply relax on the beach. Don’t forget to visit the Lost Paddle Bar and Grill for delicious wood-fired pizzas, creative takes on American classics, and a fantastic selection of local craft beers and cocktails.

Gritty Chix Benefactor 2025

Remember how we said that Gritty Chix is for a great cause? Well it’s true! Every year Gritty Chix gives back to a selected organization or group that benefits the community. This year, we have chosen the New River Animal Rescue. The New River Animal Rescue is a wonderful organization that is dedicated to ensuring animals in the community are treated with love and respect, providing a safe environment for them, and offering adoption events and a spay/neuter program. We’re excited to support this cause and help make a difference in the community together.
