A great introduction to whitewater kayaking essentials. On ACE's Lake (no whitewater) we cover proper paddle technique, balance, braces and the Eskimo roll. With your trusty ACE guide, many of our participants pick up these skills quickly and will soon be ready to brave the whitewater.
This all day clinic will get you paddling on class II and III whitewater with the help from an instructor. We will start with whitewater kayaking essentials on land and in calm water, then work our way downstream learning how to read river currents, proper paddle techniques and river safety.

Run the gorge's 20+ rapids while we provide safety and advice on paddling techniques and river running strategies. Previous whitewater kayaking experience is required since we hit several class V rapids.
