Do your soul some good by hiking the many trails of the New River Gorge, ending at some of the best views in West Virginia. ACE is nestled on 1,500 acres with over 35 miles of private trails that connect to trails within the national park. Many historical towns, like Thurmond, and overgrown-abandoned coal mines, such as the Kaymoor Mine, can be found along the New River throughout the gorge. Guided bike tours or bike rentals are also available to explore trails throughout the resort.
You can spend your nights relaxing in the hot tub in any of our deluxe cabins. Or enjoy the endless amount of stars on any clear night from our mountaintop campground. There is no better sleep than after a day of adventures and exploring. Collect some firewood, toast some marshmallows, and star gaze for hours from these wild and wonderful mountains.

I think we can finally start celebrating that summer is almost here. We're rafting almost everyday and the gorge is almost green to the rim. After being cooped up all winter, I can hardly make myself go back inside at the end of the day and camping is finally on the horizon.
